Life is easy in theSpanish town of Jávea
On a magnificent blue bay on the Costa Blanca, between the cities if Valencia and Alicante – that’s where Jávea lies. A charming coastal town with an old town centre, loved by tourists and the Spaniards themselves.
It’s the perfect location…
The 20-kilometre coastline that surrounds Jávea offers plenty of variation, with beautiful bays, pebble beaches and one sandy beach: Playa El Arenal. There are several boulevards along the sea front. The most well-known, and the most lively, is that of El Arenal, which is lined with good restaurants and bars.
Duanes (the harbour) is another lively place in the evening, as it’s full of bars with a lot of atmosphere. One of the most beautiful beaches in Spain, Playa de Granadella, is close to Cabo de la Nao. And the coast itself has plenty of viewing points with panoramic views, making it a lovely place for walks.
Jávea borders on Parc Natural del Montgó, between rocky Cabo de San Antonio and Cabo de la Nao. Dénia, the popular seaside resort, lies to the north of Jávea, while the cities of Valencia and Alicante are only an hour’s drive away from the town.
…and has the perfect climate
Jávea is a wonderful place to spend the winter. The Montgó protects the coast from the harsh winds, there is little rain in the winter months and the temperatures are always pleasant. In the summer, the sun shines brightly and temperatures range between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius from May to September.
After a sun-drenched day at the beach, you can wander through the charming, narrow streets with their shops and sidewalk cafés, enjoying the friendly ambience, eat a freshly caught fish in one of the Spanish restaurants and then return to your comfortable dream home in no time… you will really enjoy spending time in Jávea!
